University of Delaware Athletics to Take Part in Pep Rally at Chick-fil-A in Bear Aug. 24

BEAR, Del. -- Chick-fil-A Restaurant and University of Delaware Athletics will co-host a UD Athletics Kickoff Pep Rally this Wednesday evening, Aug. 24, at the Bear location off Route 40.
The event, which will celebrate the start of the 2011-12 Blue Hen athletics season, will be held from 6 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. at the 1101 Quintilio Drive location and will include face painting, photo opportunities with Blue Hen mascot, YoUDee, and members of the UD cheerleading and dance teams.
All fans in attendance wearing University of Delaware gear will receive a complimentary chicken sandwich.
