NEWARK, Del. -- The summer heat wave has stifled the entire northeast region of the country and doesn’t seem to break anytime soon. What better way to cool down than a summer pool party with the YoUDee and the University of Delaware?
The pool party is open to all Future Hens Club members on Sunday, August 21 starting at 7 p.m. at the UD Outdoor Pool located behind the Fred Rust Ice Arena.
Not a Future Hens Club member? Not a problem! Parents can register their children to become a Future Hens Club by visiting the online registration form.
Membership is $25 per person and is open to all Blue Hen fans in eighth grade or younger. Official membership includes a Future Hens Club t-shirt, a membership card, and free admission to all regular season home games for field hockey, men’s and women’s soccer, men’s and women’s lacrosse, baseball and softball.
Future Hens Club membership also includes free admission to select football, men’s and women’s basketball and volleyball home games. Members also receive special invitations to Future Hens Club events such as the kick-off pool party on August 21. A Future Hens Club Membership Card is required for admission to Club events.
New for this year, parents can sign additional siblings to the Future Hens Club for a membership fee of only $10. Children of UDAF Blue Hen Club members and UD Alumni receive a $5 discount (not applicable with sibling discount membership, however).
Join the Future Hens Club and come splash in the pool and get the chance to interact with select members of the Blue Hens football team and enjoy pizza with everyone’s favorite mascot, YoUDee.
