Special Spring Membership Discount Currently Available For Future Hens Club Registration

NEWARK, Del. -- Calling all young Blue Hens fans! Now is your last chance to be a Future Hens Club member this year.
The Future Hens Club is happy to announce a NEW special spring membership discount as well as some exciting spring events coming up this April and May!
The special spring membership is just $10 per child and is valid from April 2012 until July 2012. Spring membership includes an official Future Hens Club membership card, an official Future Hens Club tie-dyed t-shirt, a Delaware College Investment drawstring bag, invitations to the Future Hens Club Spring Events and FREE admission to ALL remaining regular season home games for men’s and women’s lacrosse. Be sure to also mark your calendars for three exciting Future Hens Club spring events! On Saturday, April 14, join us as the men’s lacrosse team takes on Saint Joseph’s at Delaware Stadium at 1 p.m. All Future Hens Club members will receive FREE admission to the game by showing their membership card, and are invited to take the field at halftime and participate in the Hens High Five Tunnel to greet the team back to the field for the second half.
Following the game against Saint Joseph’s, Future Hens Club members are invited to stick around postgame for autographs with the entire men’s lacrosse team!
Saturday, April 14 is also Blue Hens Fandemonium! Come join us for an action packed day of Blue Hens Athletics & Recreation including the Fan Zone with live entertainment, food, team autographs, giveaways, inflatables, games and fun for all ages. Be sure to visit the Future Hens Club tent in the Fan Zone for some face painting fun as well as a chance to register for the Club and pick up your official welcome packet. The events continue with the Future Hens Club End of the Year Party will be on Saturday, April 28 when Blue Hen baseball takes on Hofstra University at 1 p.m. at Bob Hannah Stadium. All Future Hens Club members will be invited to take part in the “Dare to Dream: Starting 9” and join the Delaware starters on the field during the national anthem. Free food and drinks will be provided to all members in attendance.
The third and final event of the year is when the Future Hens Club Takes Over the Park on Saturday, May 5 as the Blue Hen softball team takes on Drexel University at 1 p.m. at the Delaware Softball Stadium. All Future Hens Club members will be invited to take part in the “Dare to Dream: Starting 9” and join the Delaware starters on the field during the national anthem. Also all members will be invited to take the field for an exclusive Future Hens Club “Kids Run The Bases” postgame. Select Future Hens Club members will also be able to become “the voice of the Blue Hens” and take turns introducing Blue Hens softball players as they come to bat!
