University of Delaware Blue Hens Day Camp Registration is Now OPEN

NEWARK, Del. -- The University of Delaware Department of Recreation Services is now accepting registration for the first ever Blue Hens Day Camp! Blue Hens Day Camp, open to youth who have completed K through 6th grade, is a fun-filled summer camp for the whole Newark community geared specifically towards youth seeking to have fun by engaging in healthy activities that will lead to future wellness.
The camp consists of two different two-week sessions. The first session will run from July 9- 20 with the second beginning July 23 and ending August 3. The camp day begins promptly at 8 a.m. and runs until 4:30 p.m. In addition to our regular hours, before and after care will be available for an additional $50.
Our campers will enjoy many structured activities including swimming, field games, tennis, basketball, leadership skill building, arts and crafts, and special events such as talent shows and field days. Sign up today to explore our communities’ backyard through the UD Recreation Services!
University of Delaware employees will receive a special rate of $425 per session for registration, with an additional sibling registration of only $375 per session. All Newark community members are invited to join in the summer fun for $475 per session and $450 for every additional sibling registration.
