Registration Available For Youth Cheer Day on September 8 During Football Game vs. Delaware State

NEWARK, Del. -- Registration is now available for Youth Cheer Day, which will take place on Saturday, September 8 during the University of Delaware’s home football game against in-state rival Delaware State.
The event is open to girls ages 12 and younger. All skill levels are welcome, and no cheerleading experience is necessary. The cost is $10 per participant and includes the clinic, a t-shirt and one game ticket.
Participants will learn about the importance of education and fitness while meeting and interacting with the University of Delaware cheerleading teams. They will learn a short routine to be performed on the field at halftime of the football game later that day, which begins at 3:30 p.m. Attire is athletic apparel and sneakers.
Clinic check in will take place from 12 to 12:30 p.m., with the pregame clinic being held from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.
