University of Delaware Athletics & Recreation To Participate In Newark Day This Saturday

NEWARK, Del. – University of Delaware Athletics & Recreation will be participating in Newark Day this Saturday, June 2 on Main Street from 12 noon to 5 p.m.
Be sure to stop by the blue colored Blue Hens tent located between Haines Street and Chapel Street for giveaways from UD Athletics & Recreation, as well as special ticket promotions for football, volleyball and basketball exclusively available to Blue Hens fans that stop by our tent during Newark Day.
Newark Day began as Newark Nite in 1985 as an event to bring the community together to showcase Main Street. Over the years, the event has grown and changed in many ways. This year, a fresh, new look and daylight hours promise to bring a new vitality to an old favorite.
Rain date is Sunday, June 3.
