Future Hens Club Holding Scavenger Hunt, Starting 11, and Halloween Party Events in Upcoming Weeks

NEWARK, Del. -- Calling all Blue Hens fans in 8th grade or younger! The Future Hens Club (FHClub) is currently having a Scavenger Hunt open to all FHClub members that register by September 30 for the 2012-13 membership year (August 2012-May 2013). One winner will receive two tickets to see JUSTIN BIEBER LIVE in concert on Sunday, November 4, 2012 at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, PA.
The FHClub is invading Delaware Mini-Stadium so mark your calendars and bring your Scavenger Hunt checklists! On Sunday, October 7 the UD women's soccer team will take on Northeastern at 1 p.m., while Blue Hens men’s soccer will face Old Dominion at 4 p.m. at the Delaware Mini-Stadium.
The “Blue Hens Starting 11” for each of the two games will be EXCLUSIVELY open to FHClub members to join the Blue Hens starters during the national anthem and introductions as they prepare to take the field for the games. In addition, the Blue Hens bounce house will be available to enjoy before the starting lineups. After the games, BOTH teams will sign autographs immediately following their games so bring your FHClub VIP Pass Credential to be the first in line to get autographs from your favorite UD men’s & women’s soccer players!
The FHClub will also be hosting a Halloween party for all of its members! On Friday, October 26 Blue Hens Volleyball will take on the Towson Tigers at 7 p.m. at the Bob Carpenter Center (BCC). All FHClub members are invited to trick-or-treat through the spooky halls of the BCC from 5:30 – 6:00 p.m. All members will also be able to participate in pumpkin painting and Halloween bingo before the match. Later, there will be an on-court costume parade during intermission of the match for all children to show off their Halloween costumes in style to all fans in attendance!
FHClub members who wish to participate in the “Blue Hens Starting 11” and/or attend the Halloween party must RSVP in advance. To participate in the “Blue Hens Starting 11”, members must RSVP by 4 p.m. on Thursday, October 4. To attend the Halloween party, members must RSVP by 4 p.m. on Wednesday, October 17.
