NEWARK, Del. -- Freshman Erika Bilenki, who posted two top three finishes for the University of Delaware at the Delaware Diving Meet Saturday at Rawstrom Pool, is the Army ROTC Best of the Blue Hens Athlete of the Week for the period ending February 14.

An elementary education major from Schnecksville, Pa. (Parkland High School), Bilenki (at right) led the way after finishing as the runner-up in the 1-meter board before placing third in the 3-meter dive.

The Blue Hens earned a pair of top-three scores during the women’s 3-meter board as Emily Kasyon finished second after notching a 261.05, while Bilenki came in third with a mark of 254.85.

Bilenki also was the top Delaware finisher in the 1-meter board after coming in as the runner-up to Towson’s Caroline Baker with a score of 264.30.

The diving competition served as a final tune-up before the squad opens up the Colonial Athletic Association championship meet at George Mason on February 24
