2005: Senior captain that will start in the Blue Hen outfield and contribute as one of Delaware's top power-hitters...

2004: Started 56 games for the Blue Hens as a junior...recorded 70 hits in 225 at bats for a .311 batting average...led the team with 14 home runs and was second with 56 RBI ...hit 23 doubles and scored 55 runs while stealing 16 bases on 18 attempts...recorded season-highs of five hits and seven RBI against St. Joseph's on February 29...named CAA Player of the Week on March 2...

2003: Played in 38 games and made 22 starts...hit .250 with two home runs and 10 RBI...third on team with .368 on-base pct. and fourth on the squad with a .412 slugging pct...

2002: Appeared in 26 games with two starts as a freshman...hit .185 in 27 at bats with one double and two RBI in a backup role...

2001: Sat out and retained freshman eligibility for squad that advanced to the NCAA Tournament...

High School: Local product who was a four-year starter in baseball at nearby Dickinson High School...also played one year of basketball and football...two-time all-state selection in baseball, earning second team honors as a senior...also was a National Honor Society student...

Personal: David Christopher Harden...born October 13, 1982...son of Stephen and Sharon Harden...older brother, Steve, played four years at Delaware as a pitcher and first baseman and was the team's Most Valuable Player in 2003...Steve ranks ninth in career home runs at UD with 33...cousin, Paul Caldwell IV, played baseball at Penn State... mother, Sharon, graduated from Delaware...a civil engineering major at Delaware.
