Delaware 14, Md.-Baltimore Co. 1 May 7, 2002 Blue Hens Dominate on the Mound and at Plate Junior Ryan Dulaney had an impressive start for the second straight week  BALTIMORE, MD -- Blue Hens starting pitcher Ryan Dulaney came through with a dominant performance allowing just three hits over eight innings and the University of Delaware cruised to 14-1 victory over host University of Maryland - Baltimore County Tuesday afternoon at Alumni Field. Dulaney (Annapolis, MD/Riverdale Baptist) topped his previous outing, a three-run three-hit complete game victory over Delaware State on May 1, by holding UMBC to just one run on three hits, while striking out eight batters over eight full innings. The Retrievers (28-19) did not manage to score a run until two outs left in the eighth inning when Joe Muscillo, who reached on a single, scored from first base on John Shuler's double. Delaware meanwhile, reached the double-figure mark in runs scored for the third straight game as Steve Van Note (Brigantine, NJ/Atlantic City) blasted his ninth home run of the year, a two run shot in the sixth inning, while Steve Harden (Wilmington, DE/Dickinson) continued his tear at the plate, driving in three runs and scoring two more as he finished 3-for-5 with two doubles. Also Gloucester Catholic alumni Casey Fahy (Clayton, NJ) and Mark Michael (Gibbstown, NJ) each doubled and finished with two hits a piece on the game.
