Towson 11, Delaware 1 April 13, 2003 Delaware drops two of three to Towson in weekend series TOWSON, MD -- Bobby Paduano went 3-for-3 and hit Delaware pitcher Mike Mihalik's first pitch of the game for a home run to lead Towson University to a 11-1 win over the University of Delaware baseball team, and in the process led the Tigers to their first regular season conference series win over the Blue Hens, in Colonial Athletic Association action today at Schuerholz Park. The two teams split a doubleheader yesterday. Stephen Merson went seven innings allowing one run on six hits to improve to 3-1 on the season. Mihalik drops to 2-2 on the season as he pitched 5.0 innings giving up eight runs (six earned) on 10 hits and struck out three. Freshman shortstop Todd Davison went 2-for-5 with a double and an RBI while freshman designated hitter Daryl Holcomb had two hits and a run scored. Brian McKenna went 3-for-5 for Towson (16-14, 5-3 CAA) while Jeremy Stifler and Adam Heffron each had a pair of hits.
