| At Delaware: Will once again be a key member of Blue Hen pitching staff • will serve as team’s closer • played for the Manchester Silkworms of the New England Collegiate Baseball League in the summer of 2005, joining teammates Bryan Hagerich and Mitch Heckert.
2005: Made 22 appearances, including two starts • finished third on the team by pitching 57.2 innings • posted a record of 3-2 with three saves and a team best 2.97 ERA • also led team with a .218 opponents batting average • pitched a complete game against UMBC on March 16, allowing no earned runs in a 5-3 win • named CAA Pitcher of the Week March 21. 2004: Made 16 appearances, including two starts, and posted a 2-3 record • finished with a 7.45 ERA, allowing 24 runs in 29 innings of work • struck out 19 batters on the year.
High School: Earned three varsity letters at Salesianum for coach Dennis Walker • went 6-3 as a senior with a 1.85 ERA and 80 strikeouts • first team All-Catholic Conference selection as a junior and senior and all-state as a senior (honorable mention as a junior) • named Salesianum Athlete of the Month in both his junior and senior seasons • helped Salesianum win the state championship in 2001 • pitched for both the 2002 and 2003 Delaware North Carpenter Cup Team.
