2004: Went 4-2 with a 6.70 ERA in 23 appearances, including one start.

2003: Received medical redshirt and retained freshman eligibility • pitched in five games, making one start • did not register a decision but posted one save • recorded a 4.50 ERA in 14 innings of work and struck out eight batters.

High School: Lettered three years in baseball at Central Dauphin High School for coach B.J. Osevala • also played football • led baseball team to 17-6 record and a district tournament appearance as a senior • team lost state title game during junior season when he went 8-2 with 0.00 ERA during the regular season while striking out a school-record 114 batters • two-time Harrisburg Patriot News 11 honoree • owned a 6-0 record with a 1.73 ERA as a sophomore.
