| At Delaware: Will once again compete for innings as a starter and in relief • over the summer of 2005, pitched for the Long Island Collegians of the Atlantic Coast Baseball League • made four starts, posting a 1-1 record with a 3.60 ERA for the Collegians.
2005: Made 16 appearances during redshirt freshman season, including four starts • posted a 2-3 record with a 4.57 ERA • pitched 41.1 innings • earned first collegiate win on April 7 at Temple.
2004: Sat out freshman year as a medical redshirt.
High School: Four-year letterwinner in baseball at Riverhead High School for coach Scott Hackal • also earned one varsity letter in football • as a senior, helped Riverhead baseball team qualify for the playoffs for the first time since 1995 • all-county and all-league selection as a junior, when he was also named team MVP • all-league selection as a sophomore • kicked a school-record 53-yard field goal in only season playing football • pitched for the Long Island Titans in the summer of 2003 under coaches Jim Clark and Eric Joyner.
