At Delaware: Expected to battle for a spot in the starting lineup for the Blue Hens • experienced, versatile member of squad.

2005: Appeared in 40 games for Delaware, starting 32 between left field, center field and third base • hit .203 with 11 RBI • hit .259 in 16 conference games • drew a team season-high four walks on March 6 against Massachusetts.

2004: Played in 50 games and started in 49 • hit .273 with four home runs, three triples, and 10 doubles • stole 13 bases on 15 attempts.

2003: Saw action in 32 games while making 26 starts as a freshman • hit .238 with 19 hits, two home runs and nine RBI • stole six bases.

High School: Two-sport standout at nearby Mt. Pleasant High School • all-state in football and baseball as a junior and senior at Mt. Pleasant • played for baseball coach Rob Liminna • standout quarterback who holds the school record with five touchdown passes in one game • team won Delaware state baseball title in 2000.
