At Delaware: Will start in left field for the Blue Hens for the fourth consecutive season • possesses outstanding speed and power • tied for 14th place in school history with 30 career home runs.
2006: Started all 54 games in left field • hit .288 with 16 home runs and 55 RBI • stole 18 bases in 22 attempts • tied Delaware record for home runs in a game with three at Towson on March 31 • named CAA Player of the Week for week of April 3 • tied for fifth in the CAA with teammate Brandon Menchaca with 16 home runs • also posted two five RBI games.
2005: Played in 54 games, starting 53 • placed second on the team with a .308 batting average • tied for the team lead with eight home runs and 40 RBI • added 15 stolen bases in 18 attempts • second on team with 104 total bases, 60 hits, and 44 runs scored • had five RBI against William & Mary on May 1 • College Baseball Foundation Weekly Honor Roll week of May 3 • Academic All-American nominee • ECAC Player of the Week May 2 • played for the Manchester Silkworms of the New England Collegiate Baseball League in the summer of 2005, joining teammates Billy Harris and Mitch Heckert.
2004: Named CAA Rookie of the Week on March 15 • played in 56 games while starting 35 • hit .266 in 143 at-bats • added six home runs, three triples, and seven doubles.
High School: Four-year baseball letterwinner at Somerset High School for coach Steve Costea • also a two-year letterwinner in football • posted a 12-6 mark as a senior at Somerset, which was the Laurel Highlands Conference runner-up • went 15-4 as a sophomore and 14-4 as a junior while leading Somerset to the Laurel Highlands Conference championship both seasons • hit .472 as a senior with four home runs, 20 RBI and 12 stolen bases • as a junior hit .538 with three home runs and 20 RBI • also hit .527 with one home run and 21 RBI as a sophomore.
