2005: Played in 54 games while starting 50 in centerfield for Delaware • hit .286 with eight home runs and 37 RBI • led team with 19 stolen bases • had an 11-game hitting streak • stole three bases against Richmond on February 27 • batted .284 in CAA games • scored 33 runs to go along with 57 hits for the season • Named to the CAA All-Rookie Team • named CAA Rookie of the Week twice in March...played for the North Adams Steeplecats of the New England Collegiate Baseball League during summer, starting 28 games.
2004: Sat out redshirt season and retained freshman eligibility.
High School: Four-year letterwinner in baseball at nearby Concord High School for coach Steve Dent • all-conference and academic all-conference selection during all four years at Concord • all-state selection as a junior, when he helped Concord qualify for the state tournament • played for the Pike Creek Diamonds of the NABF, hitting .365 with four home runs • member of National Honor Society and Spanish Honor Society.
