At Triton CC: Recorded a 13-3 mark over two seasons at Triton.

High School: Four-year letterwinner in baseball and football at Ridgewood High School • named to All-Conference, All-Area and All-State teams • compiled a career 14-0 record and 0.46 ERA • posted 128 strikeouts and only nine walks as a senior • had his number retired by Ridgewood.
