2006: Hit .280 with nine home runs and 35 RBI in 50 games for the Hens • successful in all five stolen base attempts • registered 14 multiple-hit games and 10 multi-RBI games • played the summer of 2006 in the NECBL for the Sanford Mainers with Delaware teammate Dan Richardson • represented Sanford in the NECBL home run derby.
2005: Appeared in 53 games for Delaware, starting 48 • hit .302 with seven home runs and 34 RBI • posted an on-base percentage of .378 • recorded 58 hits • hit .305 while starting all 24 CAA games • named to the second team All-CAA squad • played for the Quakertown Blazers of the Atlantic Collegiate Baseball League over the summer • finished fifth in the league with a .336 batting average and 30 runs scored.
High School: Three-year letterwinner in both football and baseball at Boyertown Area High School • earned one letter in wrestling • during junior season he received first team Pac 10 and all-area honors as a designated hitter while leading Boyertown Area to a 21-5 record and a state playoff berth for coach Todd Moyer • as a senior he was named first team Pac 10 and all-area as an infielder while leading team to a 21-1 record and a Pac 10 championship • named first team All-Berks County and first team all-division at third base as a sophomore • selected football team’s Most Valuable Player in 2003 • earned first team all-area honors and second team Pac 10 honors as a receiver in 2002.
