High School: Three-year letterwinner at St. Mark’s High School for coach Matt Smith • pitched and played shortstop • two-time All-State selection • team won two state championships in 2005 and 2007 • also was a two-time All-State performer in soccer as a goalie.

Personal: Matthew James "Matt" Harden • son of Stephen and Sharon Harden • younger brother of Delaware assistant coach and former UD standout Steve Harden and former Blue Hen standout Dave Harden • civil engineering major at Delaware.
