2007: Battled through an injury-plagued junior campaign to appear in 10 games, including five starts • went 3-1 with a 4.26 ERA and 44 strikeouts over 31.2 innings • flirted with a no-hitter in the CAA semifinals when he held the No. 1 seeded Old Dominion Monarchs hitless over 8.1 innings • eventually surrendered just one hit and finished the game with seven strikeouts • earned CAA All-Tournament team honors for his performance • picked up his first win of the season against Delaware State on April 10 after striking out six over three strong innings of scoreless ball • also won a May 6 decision against William & Mary after holding the Tribe scoreless over five innings of work • drafted by the Cincinnati Reds in the 46th round of the June Draft but opted to return for his senior season.

2005: Appeared in 13 games as a freshman, starting 12 • compiled a 5-4 record with a 4.83 ERA • led the team with 78.1 innings and finished second with 70 strikeouts • held opponents to a .241 batting average • named to the CAA All-Rookie team.
High School: Four-year letterwinner in baseball for coach Jeff D’Orazib and two-year letterwinner in both football and basketball at Ridley High School • named all-county in baseball during his sophomore year while leading Ridley to a district playoff berth • posted a 1.40 ERA in 40 innings of work while striking out 66 batters • was the first person to hit a home run and a grand slam at the school’s new ballpark • named all-league in football.
