High School: Standout for Paul VI Catholic under coach Billy Emerson • captain and All-State selection in 2007 • led the team to a conference championship as a senior • All-Conference pick in his final two years • hit a home run off current teammate Steve Ulaky in the WCAC Championship game • also was a two-time All-Conference honoree as a wide receiver in football • ran the 200- and 300-meter events for the track team • earned eight varsity letters in the three sports.
