2008: Honored with the UD Offensive Player of the Year Award • also named the Wilmington Trust Best of the Blue Hens Athlete of the Week on Feb. 4 and the CAA Co-Player of the Week on May 5 • appeared in 50 games with 41 starts • led the team with a .351 batting average and 48 RBI • also ranked second with 54 hits, third with six home runs, and fifth with 30 runs scored • posted an incredible 24-game hitting streak from April 5-May 11 • his streak stands as the fifth-longest in program history, just four shy of the all-time record • hit .444 during the streak with 39 RBI and 22 runs scored • has currently reached base in 26 straight games • posted a team-high 12 multi-RBI games and had 15 games with two or more hits • had four straight multi-hit efforts from May 2-6 • knocked in five runs against UNC Wilmington (April 18) and Georgia State (May 2) • opened the season with a career-high four hits against the Citadel • led the conference with six sacrifice flies • finished third in the CAA with a .408 batting average during conference play • ranked seventh in the conference with 408 defensive chances and 358 putouts • also was involved in 39 double-plays, which ranked as the fourth-most in the league.

2007: Only true freshman to play for the Blue Hens • Appeared in 21 games and cracked the starting lineup on 10 occasions as a first baseman and designated hitter • notched 11 hits including four for extra-bases • in his first career start against No. 4 ranked Virginia, he went 2-for-4 with a double, triple, and run scored • smacked his first career home run and had a season-best two RBI against Towson on March 10 • added a season-high three hits the following day against the Tigers • recorded a .970 fielding percentage during the season • named to CAA Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll.

High School: Four-year letterwinner in baseball and basketball at Freehold High School • also earned a letter in football • two-year captain of baseball and basketball teams • First-team all-shore and all-conference selection as a senior • two-time Carpenter Cup selection • recipient of the United States Marine Corps Ted Williams Award for leadership, teamwork and performance • honor roll student.
