2008: Started 33 games, splitting time between the three outfield spots • 47 appearances were the second most among all outfielders on the team • led the team with six stolen bases on just eight attempts • roped a career-high four hits against Georgia State on May 3 to cap a season-best seven-game hitting streak • against the Panthers, tied the all-time single-game program record with three doubles • also had a three-hit effort against UMBC on March 4 • clubbed his first home run as a Blue Hen against Princeton on March 1 • eventually finished the season with five homers, including a grand slam in a 16-3 victory over Temple on April 15 • hit an impressive .340 in 50 at bats against left-handed pitching • tied for the CAA lead with a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage during conference play.
At University of Maryland-Eastern Shore 2007: Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Rookie of the Year and three-time Rookie of the Week selection • played in 53 games with 52 starts • tied for the team-lead with three triples • third on the team with a .277 batting average, 31 runs scored, 20 RBI, and 12 stolen • played for the league champion New Jersey Tide of the ABCCL.
