2007: Made 13 appearances with two starts on the mound • compiled a 1-2 record with a 4.70 ERA and 23 strikeouts over 30.2 innings • only pitcher on the staff who did not allow a single stolen base to the opposition • attempted base stealers were 0-for-2 on the season against him • during his first career appearance, he fired four innings of scoreless relief against No. 4 ranked Virginia on March 2 • had career-high five strikeouts on March 14 in his first start against Wilmington College • his 3.29 strikeout-to-walk ratio was the third highest among Blue Hen pitchers with at least 10 appearances • did not allow a run over his last five appearances • held opponents scoreless during eight of his 13 games including a three-inning relief appearance against George Mason on April 6 • CAA Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll.
2006: Redshirted season with injury and retained freshman eligibility.
High School: Two-year letterwinner at Mount St. Joseph’s High School for coach Dave Norton • also won two letters in baseball and cross country at Howard High School before transferring to Mount St. Joseph’s for his junior season • team won state championship during junior season • pitched a complete-game shutout in the championship game • named to pre-season Maryland State Association of Baseball Coaches All-State team senior year • season cut short by shoulder surgery • National Honor Society member.
