At Delaware: Will start in the outfield and could also see time at first base, designated hitter, and out of the bullpen • one of the top sluggers on the team.

2008: Appeared in 45 games with 42 starts and led the Hens with an impressive .573 slugging percentage • finished second on the team with 11 home runs and 35 RBI • tied the school-record with three home runs in one game after accomplishing the feat against George Mason on April 25 • finished the game with five RBI and three runs scored • also chipped in with three hits, including a grand slam, against Towson on May 10 • ripped three extra-base hits, highlighted by his first career triple, in a 5-2 victory over Northeastern on March 14 • finished second on the team with 10 multiple-RBI efforts • stole a base in three straight contests from April 30 - May 3 • also made four starts on the mound, going 1-2 while striking out 12 in 15.2 innings of work • earned the victory in his only relief appearance, firing 4.1 strong innings out of the bullpen against Hofstra on April 5 • also struck out four in just three innings of work in the team’s 12-0 shutout win over Wilmington on April 3.

At Frederick Community College 2007: First-team All-Region, All-Conference, and All-American selection for the second straight year • led Frederick with a .420 batting average, 10 home runs, 13 doubles, 63 hits, and 50 RBI • also legged out three triples • on the mound, he led the team and set a school record with six saves • also logged 15 strikeouts and allowed just four hits in 13.1 innings of work • team went 33-12 and was crowned District and Regional Champions • finished sixth at the NJCAA Division II World Series in Millington, TN.

2006: First-team All-Region, All-Conference, and All-American selection • selected in the 27th round of the Major League Draft by the Texas Rangers • led the team with nine home runs and five triples • set program records with 23 doubles, 82 hits, and 189 at bats • also finished second with a .434 batting average and 58 RBI.

High School: Four-year standout at Chambersburg High School for head coach Bob Thomas • led the team to a Class AAA State Title in 2004 • team finished the year ranked 7th in the Eastern United States by the USA Today in their final rankings • squad went 65-15 during his career.

Personal: Jared Warren Olson • son of Gary and Mary Olson • has two brothers, Mark and Trenton • business major at Delaware.
