NEWARK, Del. – Due to the forecast of heavy rain over the weekend, the University of Delaware baseball team has canceled its series against Holy Cross that was originally scheduled for Saturday and Sunday.

All three games against the Crusaders have been canceled. The series will not be made-up.

Because of the cancellations, the Hens have opted to switch Tuesday’s contest with Delaware State from a single game to a doubleheader. The twinbill is slated to begin at 1 p.m. The first game will be a seven-inning contest, while the nightcap will be nine innings.
