At Delaware: Pursuing a concentration in Sport Management, Max Orland from Westport (CT), is entering his fourth season as manager for the Blue Hen Baseball team. In addition to working with Delaware Baseball, Max has also served as a team manager for the UD Men's Basketball team the past four seasons. Max has spent the last few seasons with the Bridgeport Bluefish, an independent league team, and worked for the Pawtucket Red Sox, the AAA affiliate of the Boston Red Sox, last summer.
Baseball is Max's favorite sport. He is currently interning for his favorite team, the Boston Red Sox, at Spring Training inFort Myers, FL and will return to UD to finish out the baseball season. Max hopes to work in baseball after he leaves UD - hopefully with the Sox. In his spare time, Max enjoys hanging out with his friends.
