Personal/High School: Zac Melvin Wright...born March 1, 1985...son of Melvin and Jackie Wright...has an older brother, Jonathan (22)...four-year baseball letterwinner at The Walker School...also awarded one varsity letter in both wrestling and football...Team MVP and captain as a junior and a senior...helped his team to state championship as a sophomore (29-5) and a junior (30-7)...led Cobb County with eight home runs and 52 RBI as a junior...received Team Sportsman Award as a sophomore and was both the junior varsity MVP as a freshman as well as the recipient of the Iron Man Award...played for the Patriots in American Legion Post 201 this past summer...awarded a gold medal in physics for having the highest average in the school.
