2009: Earned second-team All-Conference honors and was named the Pape Lukk team MVP • led Delaware with a .380 batting average, 78 hits, 20 doubles, and 12 stolen bases • ranked sixth in the conference with a .480 on-base percentage and ninth with 59 runs scored • reached base safely in all 48 contests • first Blue Hen in program history to accomplish that feat • posted a hit in all but three games during the year • pieced together a 15-game hitting streak from March 8-31 • ended the season on a 13-game roll • notched a season-high five hits in the second game of a doubleheader against Hofstra on April 12 • recorded four hits and scored four runs in the first game of the Hofstra series • also posted four hits on March 7 against Manhattan • swiped a pair of bases on May 12 against Maryland • homered in his first-ever game with Delaware on February 20 at Longwood • also went yard against Marist on March 13, Old Dominion on March 27, and Saint Joseph’s on April 7 • started in the lead-off spot during every game throughout the year • ranked third on the squad with 20 multi-hit performances.
At Santa Barbara City College: Played third base at Santa Barbara for two seasons • led the team to the Western State Conference Championship North Division title in 2007• made 82 consecutive starts and set the single-season record for hit-by-pitches with 19 in 2008 • posted a team-high .352 batting average as a sophomore • also led the squad with 56 hits, 24 walks, and a .490 on-base percentage • finished second on the team in stolen bases after swiping 20 on just 25 attempts.
High School: Two-year letterwinner as a second baseman at Los Gatos High School • led the team to the Central Coast Section championship in 2006 • set the school-record for hit-by-pitches with 12 • Scholar-Athlete as a junior and senior • also was a two-year starter for the football team • earned first-team All-Conference honors as a linebacker • helped the squad capture the 2005 CCS championship • among the school’s all-time leaders with 156 tackles.
