2009: Appeared in 11 games with four starts during his freshman campaign • tied with Rich O’Donald for most appearances by a freshmen during the season • went 2-2 with a 5.33 ERA and 25 strikeouts in 25.1 innings of work • made his first career start against Maryland on March 10 • tossed three shutout innings against Wilmington on March 17 and two spotless frames against Maryland on May 12 • earned his first win against Saint Joseph’s on April 7 which clinched a spot for Delaware in the Liberty Bell Classic finals • tossed five strong innings with a season-high six strikeouts against the Hawks • earned his second win with 1.2 innings of relief in a 12-5 victory over Rutgers on April 28 • made his first conference appearance against Georgia State on April 4.
High School: Three-year letterwinner in baseball at Indian Valley High School • earned first-team All-Mountain League honors in 2008 as a pitcher and first baseman • also named first-team All-League as a designated hitter during his sophomore season • received two letters as a starting defender in soccer as well • selected as a Tri-Valley Scholar-Athlete.
