In the first game Towson jumped ahead of the Blue Hens in
the second inning on a Jason Sandner sacrifice fly, but

home run by two-time America East Player of the Year
Kevin Mench, who collected his 18th of the season.
Delaware tacked on a run in the top of the sixth inning on a
Frank DiMaggio RBI single. However, Towson loaded the
bases with no outs off of Delaware starter Tim
Lorito. Greg Davies hit a single which scored Dusty
Reynolds, but Dubansky was thrown out at the plate by Mench
to get the first out of the inning. Lorito got two fly ball

after pitching seven innings and only giving up two runs.

on Friday against Northeastern, came in with two men
on and two outs in the bottom of the eighth and pitched the
rest of the way to pick up his first career save.
Delaware jumped out to a 4-0 lead after two innings in
the second game on two-RBI singles by DiMaggio and Andrew
Salvo. Vic Sage pitched four scoreless innings to
start the game but RBI doubles to Tim Pritchard and Jason

breathing room. Dave Mullin, who picked up the loss
