home run of the day a two run homer, a Matt Voltz 2
RBI double and a Vince Vukovich single.
Both staffs calmed down keeping the game knotted at 10,
until the top of the ninth when the Hens got five runs
coming on a Vukovich RBI single which put them ahead and
then a John Kincaid grand slam which helped put the
game away. Rich McGuire pitched two scoreless innings
to pick up the win and moved to 4-0 on the season.
Delaware was led by John Kincaid's four RBI which
came off his grand slam. The Blue Hens also got two home
runs apiece from Salvo and Maestrales, along with two RBI
from Voltz and Vuckovich. In all the Hens belted out six
home runs and also picked up their fourth grandslam of the
season. Vic Sage had a rough outing giving up seven
runs in a third of an inning, but Nick Spiewak

to hold the fort down for the Hens. McGuire pitched two
scoreless innings, while Dave Mullin came in the
ninth to pitch one scoreless inning.
