Delaware. A visitor parking permit is required to park in
lots other than the designated visitor lots, which are
the Visitors Center lot (lot 41), the East Campus Visitor
lot (lot 57), and the Parking Garage (lot 17). A visitor
permit may be obtained at the Department of Public Safety or from the department or
office visited. Visitor permits are valid in the Field
House (lot 1) and Field House South (lot 88) parking lots
adjacent to the Nelson Athletic Complex, as well as lots
3, 7, 39, 51, and 54, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and
4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Visitors are prohibited
from parking in reserved and service vehicle spaces at
all times.
Visitors who receive notice of a parking violation for
"Lacks Valid Permit" may have the fine excused by coming
to the Department of Public Safety and establishing their
visitor status. During any academic year, the department will
excuse no more than one such violation notices. |
