2004:
One of three captains in 2004...earned
second team All-CAA honors along with
being named to the CAA All-Tournament
team...started in all 22 games for the
Blue Hens recording seven goals and two
assists...recorded the game-winner in
double overtime against Jamed Madison on
October 1 and the Game-winner in overtime
against Hofstra on October 22...In the
Blue Hens 5-1 defeat of Hofstra for the
CAA Championship Balmer posted one goal
and one assist...
2003:
Earned STX/NFHCA third team All-American,
first team All-Region and first team
All-CAA honors as a junior...led team in
goals with 12 despite taking just 23
shots...second on the team in scoring with
27 points...had three goals vs. Villanova
(Sept. 7)...scored twice and had an assist
in win over No. 12 Northeastern (Sept.
20)...scored twice in 6-3 win over La
Salle (Sept. 29)...scored both goals in a
2-0 win over Hofstra...
2002:
Earned STX/NFHCA All-Region second team
honors...finished tied for second on team
in scoring with 15 points (7g, 1a)...all
seven goals came in non-conference
games...scored in 2-1 overtime win over
Richmond (Sept. 8)...also scored against
No. 7 Wake Forest (Sept. 14)...
2001:
Appeared in all 21 games with 18 starts as
a rookie...recorded her first collegiate
point with an assist in a 2-1 overtime
loss at California (Aug. 28)...scored her
first collegiate goal in a 5-4 overtime
loss to Boston University (Sept.
28)...scored in Delaware's 2-1 overtime
win over Hofstra (Oct. 19)...
High
School: Played field hockey and
soccer at Christopher Dock Mennonite HS
and also played ice hockey on the club
level...two-time all-league and all-area
selection in field hockey...earned
all-state honors as a junior and was
conference Most Valuable Player as a
senior...first-team all-league soccer
player as a junior...honor roll
student...
