High School: Three-year letterwinner at Stafford Senior High School • named District and Region Player of the Year • first team all-district, first team all-region and first team all-state as a senior • All-Area Potomac Newspaper and Free-Lane Star Player of the Year as a senior • led Stafford to district and regional championships in 2001 and 2002 and to the state quarterfinals in 2002 • team also advanced to the state semifinals in 2001 and state finals in 2000 • awarded Jimmy Jones High School Athlete Sportsmanship Award • first team All-Commonwealth District and first team all-region in 2001 • also played varsity soccer and was a member of swimming team at Stafford • member of National Honor Society • high school teammate of UD’s Lindsey Piester.
