At Delaware: Expected to start on the Blue Hen defense in her third season

2004: Appeared in 14 games while starting seven in the Delaware backfield (missed the first eight games with an injury) • did not record any statistics • named to CAA Academic Honor Roll and to NFHCA National Academic Team. 2003: Appeared in 18 games with 16 starts after missing her true freshman season with a knee injury • started all nine CAA games on defense. 2002: Sat out as a medical redshirt.

High School: Tri-Valley second team all-conference selection as a junior and first team selection as a senior • named team’s defensive Most Valuable Player in both 2000 and 2001 at State College Area HS (PA) • high honor roll student at State College.

Personal: Kaili Kao • born October 1, 1984 • daughter of Teh-hui and Linda Kao • oldest of four children • honor student as an international relations major with minors in business, French and religious studies at Delaware • will play against one of her former teammates and best friends from high school, Maureen Klingler, when Delaware faces James Madison.
