High School: Three-year starter as a forward on Oak Park River Forest field hockey team • member of the 2003 squad that won the state championship and the 2004 and 2005 teams that advanced to the state finals • named Illinois State Player of the Year as a senior • led the state with 39 goals last season • all-state selection in 2004 and 2005 • captained team during senior year • also was a three-year starter as a defender on the Oak Park River Forest soccer team • Dean’s List and honor roll student • graduated cum laude • member of Spanish Honors Society • student of the year for physical education as a freshman and sophomore.
