High School: Three-year starter at nearby Concord High School • earned first team all-state and first team all-conference honors her last three years • led Concord to the state semifinals in 2004 and to the quarterfinals in 2003 and 2005 • started three years on the Concord soccer team but missed her senior season after an ACL injury.

Personal: Kimberly Ann "Kimmy" Schlezes ("slee-zus") • daughter of Ken and Peggy Schlezes • has a sister Andrea, who played field hockey at Towson, and a brother Kyle  • father played football at Notre Dame • has not declared a major at Delaware.
