Junior Mia Callahan (Hopkinton/Contoocook, NH) scored one goal and assisted on another as the No. 14 ranked University of Delaware field hockey team rolled to its sixth straight victory Saturday with a 3-0 win over host West Chester. The Blue Hens, who also got goals from Rachel Barger and Megan McGuin, won their sixth straight to improve to 8-1 while the Rams fell to 1-7. Delaware's win streak is the longest since a six-game streak in 1995 and the 8-1 start is the best since 1994. Barger started the scoring with her eighth goal of the season with 11:36 left in the opening half on an assist from Callahan. Just 54 seconds later, Callahan made it 2-0 with an unassisted goal. McGuin capped the scoring with a goal off an assist from freshman Juli Byrd with 20:58 left to play. Delaware goalkeepers Kelly Adams (five saves) and Kelly Ottati (two saves) combined for the team's fifth shutout of the season.
