2004: Verizon/CoSIDA Academic All-American candidate...second-year starter in Hens' four-receiver spread offense...outstanding possession receiver with good hands and runs solid routes...has played in 28 career games with eight starts in two seasons at UD and has caught 27 passes for 334 yards (12.4 avg.) and three touchdowns...will serve as holder on placements for the third straight season...caught four passes for 65 yards, including a 39-yard scoring pass from Sonny Riccio in spring game...

2003: Named to Verizon/CoSIDA District 2 All-Academic first team...played in all 16 games with seven starts...fourth on team with 19 catches for 275 yards (14.5 avg.) and three touchdowns...also rushed once for eight yards and a touchdown off a fake field goal vs. William & Mary...caught season-high two passes in seven different games with career-high 48 yards vs. William & Mary (season-high 45-yard reception)...caught 12-yard touchdown pass from Andy Hall vs. West Chester, a 37-yard scoring pass from Hall vs. Northeastern, and a six-yard touchdown pass from Ryan Carty in I-AA first round win over Southern Illinois...caught 58-yard touchdown from Brad Michael in spring game...

2002: Transfered to UD during the summer from Arizona State...played in all 12 games and started vs. Rhode Island...seventh on the team in receptions with eight for 59 yards with a long reception of 16 yards vs. West Chester...had best game vs. James Madison when he caught four passes for 26 yards...also had two receptions for 18 yards vs. West Chester...completed a two-point conversion pass to Rick Lavelle vs. Georgia Southern...At

Arizona State:

2001: Walk-on as a true freshman...did not see game action and retained freshman eligibility...team posted a record of 4-7 under Dirk Koetter ...

High School Honors: Competed in football and basketball at Bishop Kelly High School...started for three seasons as a wide receiver, quarterback, and defensive back...three-time All-Southern Idaho Conference selection...was Idaho state A2 Player of the Year as a junior when he caught 70 passes for 1,800 yards and 19 touchdowns...switched to quarterback as a senior and was Southern Idaho Conference Offensive Player of the Year while also earning All-State notice as a defensive back...set state single game records in 1999 when he had 222 yards receiving and caught four touchdowns in the state title game...set 26 school records during his career...played guard in basketball and earned All-State honors as a senior and was a three-time All-SIC selection...basketball team was second in the state his senior year and third his junior year...National Honor Society student...

Personal: Joe Edward Bleymaier ("blay-myer")...born Aug. 9, 1982 in Boise, ID...son of Gene and Danell Bleymaier...father, Gene, is the director of athletics at Boise State University...father played college football at UCLA and two uncles competed at Air Force and Stanford...enjoys snow and water skiing, whitewater rafting, hunting, and fishing in spare time...one of four children...honor student as a business major at Delaware.
