Earned Verizon/CoSIDA 2nd team
Academic All-American honors,
Verizon/CoSIDA 1st team District 2
All-Academic honors, and was selected as
the inaugural Atlantic 10 Conference
Scholar-Athlete of the Year Award...earned
the National Association of College
Directors of Athletics Scholar-Athlete
Award and earned "All-American" honors by
the National Strength and Conditioning
Association for his commitment to weight
training...earned team's Top Conditioned
Athlete Award as he set school records in
the power clean lift (345 lbs.) and also
had team's best marks in the vertical jump
(41 inches) and broad jump
(10-3)...appeared in 15 games and started
season opener vs. The Citadel...did not
see action vs. West Chester
(hamstring)...posted 27 tackles (12 solo)
and 2.5 tackles for loss...tied for team
and Atlantic 10 lead with three fumble
recoveries and shared a sack vs.
Navy...posted a career-high six tackles
and recovered a fumble vs. William &
Mary...recovered fumbles vs. The Citadel
and Richmond and added four tackles vs.

fullback to linebacker in spring

start as fourth linebacker in season

playing time diminish as season went on

Earned letter as a redshirt
freshman... served as a backup fullback
and short yardage runner...played in all
10 games and rushed nine times for 14
yards and one touchdown while catching two
passes for six yards and returning one
kickoff for 10 yards...carried twice for
six yards vs. Georgia Southern...scored
first career touchdown on one-yard dive
late in win over James Madison...caught
nine-yard pass vs. Hofstra...earned team's
Top Conditioned Athlete Award in
