special teams unit and will be backup deep
snapper...small for his position at 5-11
and 210 lbs. but is an energetic,
tenacious player who is one of the team's
best conditioned athletes...has never
missed a game in career, playing in 38
contests with 20 starts...has registered
125 tackles (70 solo), eight tackles for
loss, and four sacks...three-time member
of Atlantic 10 Academic All-Conference
team...his 37-inch vertical leap was the
second best on the team in spring
testing...also recorded a 355 lb. bench
press...
2003:
First-year starter at outside
linebacker and a key special teams
performer...contributed to defense that
allowed just 15.4 points per game (No. 5
in I-AA) and shut out Colgate 40-0 in I-AA
title game...joined Davis and defensive

as the only defensive players to start
every game...ranked sixth on the squad in
tackles with 73, including 27 solo
stops...added 6.5 tackles for loss for 25

in pre-season and went on play in all 12

outside linebacker before Ryan McDermond
took over...ranked eighth on the team with
41 tackles (29 solo) and had one sack and
one fumble recovery...collected 28 tackles
over the course of the first four games,
registering a career-high 10 stops (nine
solo) and one sack vs. West Chester, seven
tackles vs. Richmond, six stops and a
fumble recovery vs. The Citadel, and five
tackles vs. Georgia Southern...near
flawless as a deep snapper on punts as
Hens had just two punts blocked in 65
attempts...had a game-high seven tackles,
including a quarterback sack, in spring
game...
2001:
Walk-on who earned letter as a
redshirt freshman...backup linebacker and
team's deep snapper on punts...covered
kickoffs...saw action in all 10 games and
posted 11 tackles (four solo)...had
season-high four tackles vs. New Hampshire
