2004: Walk-on...second-year member of squad...will serve as backup punter behind returning starter Mike Weber and as backup kicker behind All-Atlantic 10 Conference selection Brad Shushman...did not see action in spring game...

2003: Injured for most of the season and did not see action in first season at Delaware...retained freshman eligibility...

High School Honors: Competed in football, soccer, and baseball at Bishop Eustace High School in Pennsauken, NJ...three-year member of football team for head coach Sam Tropiano...played running back, kicker, and punter...was team's offensive Most Valuable Player and earned All-Conference honors...kicked a season-long 45-yard field goal...played two seasons and earned one letter in baseball as an outfielder and catcher and played freshman soccer...National Honor Society student...

Personal: John Oscar Nauss...born Aug. 11, 1985...son of John and Monica Nauss...oldest of three children...business major with a minor in economics at Delaware...has worked as a bank teller during the summer.
