2004: Promising sophomore defensive tackle...first year at Delaware after transfer from NCAA I-A West Virginia...eligible immediately and has three years to play at Delaware per NCAA transfer rules...transfered to Delaware in January...projected as the No. 3 defensive tackle behind returning veterans Tom Parks and Bubba Jespersen...joins an experienced and talented group that returns seven of eight regulars from unit that posted 41 sacks to lead Hens to NCAA I-AA title...one of team's shortest players but also one of its strongest...420 lb. bench press was best on team...lifted 225 lbs. 25 times to tie for team lead and had 550 lb.squat lift...

At West Virginia University:

2003: Did not see game action as a redshirt freshman...team went 8-5 and lost to Maryland in the Continental Tire Bowl under head coach Rich Rodriguez...

2002: Sat out redshirt season to retain freshman eligibility...team went 9-4 and lost to Virginia in the Continental Tire Bowl...two-time scout team Rookie of the Week...

High School Honors: Three-year starter on offensive and defensive line at Upper Darby High School for head coach Rich Gentile...two-time member of Delaware County Daily Times All-Delaware County team...helped team post a record of 6-3 as a senior in 2001 when he was captain and team MVP...posted 112 tackles, including 13 sacks as a senior...named to All-Central League and All-Southern Pennsylvania teams...played in Big 33 All-Star Game and in Delaware County Hero Bowl...National Honor Society...member of school executive committee and participated in mock trial club...

Personal: Rachid Stoury (pronounced "ruh-sheed story")...born June 2, 1983 in Morocco...son of Malika Bousada...one of three/children...honor student at West Virginia...majoring in management information systems (MIS) at UD...enjoys fishing.
