senior starters...two-year letterwinner
who will start for second straight year at
right tackle...has outstanding size at 6-6
and 330 lbs.and is the team's heaviest
player...sat out spring drills with a leg
injury...has played in 28 career games at
Delaware...
2003:
Teamed with AII-American and New York
Jets signee Jason Nerys and fellow juniors
Trip DelCampo, Jared Wray, and Chris
Edwards to form one of the top offensive
line units in the Atlantic 10 Conference
and lead Delaware to NCAA
I-AA-title...helped pave the way for an
offense that ranked ninth in NCAA I-AA in
scoring offense (34.7) and No. 20 in
rushing offense (207.6)...played in 15
games with 13 starts...suffered ankle
sprain vs. Hofstra and played just one
series vs. William & Mary and sat out
vs. New Hampshire due to the
injury...posted a 400 lb. bench press in
spring testing...sat out most of spring
drills with injuries and did not play in
spring game...
2002:
Earned first letter in second season
with the Hens...earned starting job in
pre-season and started all 12 games at
left tackle position...part of a unit that
helped Delaware rank third in the Atlantic
10 in rushing offense (206.2) and allowed
just 15 sacks, second best mark in the
league...
2001:
Saw first action of career but did not
earn varsity letter...played a backup role
behind Jeff Dodge and appeared in just one
game, vs. Massachusetts...
2000:
Sat out redshirt season and retained
freshman eligibility...

School Honors: Two-way lineman at
Huntington High School under coach Steve
Muller...USA Today All-American,
All-State, All-Long Island, and
All-Suffolk County as a senior...finalist
for Zellner Award (top lineman in Suffolk
County)...National Football Foundation
1999 All-Metro Team...three-time All-North
Shore....three-year lacrosse stand-out who
earned All-County honors...played in
Outback Steakhouse All-Star Empire
Challenge...finalist for Long Island
Empire Lacrosse team in 1999...played for
World Class Lacrosse under 16 team in tour
in Vancouver, Canada...also lettered in
basketball as a senior...earned seven
varsity letters...high school teammate
Chris Mooney is a senior defensive lineman
with the Blue Hens...
