NEWARK, Del. -- The University of Delaware will once again welcome back its football alumni this fall with a special event following the historic Delaware State game on Sept. 19.

Building on an event this past spring that brought over 200 former UD players back for the annual spring game in April, the festive day will include the first-ever regular season game between Delaware and Delaware State at 12 noon at Delaware Stadium followed by a social event to be held from 3:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Bob Carpenter Center.

All Delaware football alumni can register for the day’s events on-line at www.bluehens.com/football.html and clicking on the “Delaware Football Alumni Outing” on the right side of the page, entering the promotional code, and clicking on “Feel the Rush”.

Tickets for the game are $30 and admission to the social event is $50 for adults and $20 for youth ages 6-12. All children under six will be admitted to the alumni social for free.

Special combination discounts are available for $75 (game and social combination for adults), $50 (game and social combination for youth 6-12), and $30 (game and social combination for youth ages 6 and under).
