High School Honors: Played fullback and linebacker at Norristown High School under head coach Roger Grove...team captain and team Most Valuable Player who posted over 100 tackles as a senior from linebacker position...earned first team All-Southeast Pennsylvania, All-Suburban One League, and All-Montgomery County honors as a senior in 2000...nominee for Big 33 game...all-league selection in track and field as a shot putter...student council member. At Delaware: 2003: Outstanding young prospect on Blue Hen defensive line...a converted linebacker...athletic and active defender who explodes off the line and is energetic...part-time starter a year ago who is slated to take over a full-time starting spot at right end this season...will be back at full strength after tearing knee ligaments in 2002 season finale vs. Villanova...despite injury, still took part in spring drills... time of 4.84 in the 40-yard dash and his 315 lb. clean lift were both second among UD defensive linemen in spring testing...2002: Was originally recruited as a linebacker but moved to defensive end in the spring to fill a need and had a solid redshirt freshman season...saw action in 11 games and started eight contests at right end...did not play vs. The Citadel due a hamstring pull suffered the previous week vs. Richmond...registered 27 tackles on the season, including 19 solo stops...had 5.5 tackles for losses of 30 yards and 1.5 sacks for 11 yards...added one forced fumble, intercepted a pass, and broke up another...posted a career-high five tackles each vs. Richmond and Massachusetts and had six other games with two tackles each...had a tackle for a 12-yard loss vs. Richmond and recorded only sack vs. Maine...intercepted a pass and broke up another in home win over No. 11 Northeastern...forced a fumble in the season finale vs. Villanova...during spring testing, ranked No. 7 on team in the power clean lift (295 lbs.)...posted four tackles during the spring game...2001: Was one of team's top scout players at linebacker...did not see game action and retained freshman eligibility.
