High School Honors: Enjoyed standout career at linebacker at Bergen Catholic High School under head coach Fred Stengel....as a senior, earned first team All-State honors and was the Bergen County Defensive Player of the Year...first team All-Bergen County and was listed as one of the top 100 players in the state of New Jersey...led football team to state title as a senior when the team was ranked sixth in the nation...standout wrestler at 215 lb. class...placed third in the state as a senior...led baseball team to the county title as a pitcher.

At Delaware: 2003: Hard-hitting former linebacker who adds experience to a young defensive line...returning team leader in sacks...expected to battle for starting berth at right end with Duke transfer Shawn Johnson...can also play linebacker and on special teams for the Hens...has good speed to play the end position...changed uniform back to No. 1 (from No. 11) this season...recorded one tackle in the spring game...has played in 21 career games and posted 49 tackles...2002: Moved to defensive end after two seasons at linebacker to fill a need and played solidly...played in all 12 games and started contests vs. New Hampshire and Maine late in the season...ranked 11th on team and third among down linemen with 33 tackles, including 19 solo stops...led team with four sacks for 27 yards and ranked fourth on team with 7.5 tackles for loss (37 yards)...also added one pass breakup...posted four or more tackles four times with a career-high 10 stops at Rhode Island...had six solos stops, three tackles for loss, and one sack in overtime setback to the Rams...for his efforts was named Blue Hen Touchdown Club Defensive Player of the Week...also recorded five tackles, including a sack, vs. William & Mary, four tackles, including a sack, and a pass breakup vs. New Hampshire, and four tackles, including a sack and another tackle for loss against vs. Massachusetts...2001: Earned letter as a redshirt freshman...was a key backup at linebacker and played special teams...played in nine games, missing only contest vs. Northeastern...posted 16 tackles, including seven solo stops...also had one sack and one pass breakup...recorded a season-high six tackles, including four solo stops, vs. No. 1 ranked Georgia Southern...recorded his only sack vs. Georgia Southern...also had three tackles vs. Massachusetts and had two stops in collegiate debut vs. Rhode Island...named one of four Most Improved Players on defense for spring drills...ranked among leaders with five tackles in spring game...2000: Was listed on the depth chart but did not see action and retained freshman eligibility.

Personal: Dominic Eugene Santoli...born Jan. 31, 1982...son of Eugene and Paula Santoli...honor student as a sport management major...father was a four-year standout in wrestling at Bucknell University...enjoys surfing in spare time...serves as a Peer Mentor in Delaware's H.E.N.S. (Helping Each Newcomer Succeed) program in which upperclassmen help freshman student-athletes adjust to college life.
