High School: Four-year letterwinner in football at Memorial High School…three-year starter who  led teams to mark of 20-11…rushed for 962 yards and scored 16 touchdowns on just 66 carries and posted 64 tackles, including nine for loss, as a senior…rushed for 207 yards and just seven carries and had three touchdowns vs. North Begen HS…led team to state tournament as a senior…named to all-county team as a junior and senior…named all-state as a linebacker  his senior season when he was named to New Jersey Football Coaches Association Top 100 team…led team to 10-1 record and Hudson County title as a sophomore…also participated in track and field…named first team all-county in 100 meters and 200 meters…earned Hudson Reporter Athlete of the Year Award as a senior  as the county's top multi-sport athlete…participated in Governor's Bowl for New Jersey.

At Delaware: Expected to compete for playing time in young Delaware defensive secondary….transferred from Rutgers following 2005 spring semester.

At Rutgers: 2002 Season: Did not see game action and retained freshman eligibility for team that went 1-11 under coach Greg Schiano…

2003: Won starting strong safety job in pre-season camp and played in first five games before sustaining a knee injury…had 24 tackles, including 16 solo stops and one assisted sack…had season-high seven tackles at Michigan State and six vs. Army and Virginia Tech…team went 5-7 under Schiano…

2004:  Saw limited action in seven games due to injuries…recorded five tackles, including three solo stops…team posted record of 4-7.

Personal:  Bryan Durango…born February 2, 1983 in North Bergen, NJ…son of Gustavo and Gladys Durango…sociology major at Delaware.
